Balances – Used mainly in laboratory, academic and
industrial applications, lab balances provide precision weighing with
capacities ranging from milligrams to kilograms. |
 |
Belt Scales – Mainly used to aggregate businesses
such as quarries or asphalt plants. Belt scales provide in-motion
weighing on a conveyor. |
 |
Bench Scales – Usually placed on a counter top,
bench scales are used in a wide variety of applications ranging from
shipping and receiving to manufacturing. Bench scales are available
in stainless steel or carbon steel, with a wide range of capacities. |
 |
Checkweigh Scales - Used to weigh portions of a
product for manual filling or used for quality control. Once product
reaches desired “target” rate, scale will indicate acceptance. Checkweigh
scales can be used stand-alone or in-motion. |
 |
Counting Scales - Used to accurately count small or large
parts. Counting scales work well for inventory control or coin counting. |
 |
Crane Scales - Used to measure the weight of a
load as it is lifted, typically by a crane, hoist or winch. From material handling,
to proof testing and controlled tensioning, we offer a selection of cranes scales
available with features and capacities to meet a variety of needs.

Digital Indicators – Today’s indicators do more
that read weight, they now are programmed to actually run the scale.
Electronic Scale Systems' line of instrumentation / HMI excels in any
environment. From hazardous areas to batching applications, to the most
sensitive laboratory setting, every ESSI instrument is designed to provide
accurate weight data with power, speed and rugged durability. |
 |
Floor Scales – ESSI's line of floor scales are designed
to perform year after year in the most rugged industrial environments.
With standard models built specifically for a variety of tough applications
including general use scales, sanitary designed scales, portable scales, and a single
animal livestock scale, there is a floor scale ready to work for you. |

500 lb to 30,000 lb capacities
Deck sizes from 2' x 2' to 8' x 10'
Super-duty underdeck design
Available access ramps and pit frames
Customizable to meet your unique needs

 |
Forklift Scales - Forklift scales provide a faster way to measure
the weight of a skid of material or anything lifted by the forklift. It will save time
compared to multiple trips to a floor scale, and you can weigh while moving. ESSI can
provide a forklift scale for almost every type of forklift. |
 |
Load Cells – Most of today’s load cells are electronic.
The load cell “bends” when weight is applied. The bending is measured
electronically and then displayed numerically on a digital indicator. |
 |
Portable Scales – Designed for mobile weighing
applications ranging from light to medium capacities. Portable scales
have the ability to be battery operated or powered by AC. |
 |
Rail Scales – Used to weigh rail cars and their
loads while cars are in-motion. Used frequently in scrap yards, chemical
plants, grain elevators and refineries. |
 |
Test Weights – Used to perform accuracy tests.
Test weights can be used between calibration visits to test scales
for accuracy. |
 |
Truck Scales – Used to weigh entire vehicles and
their loads. Truck scales are a quick and easy weigh to measure the
flow of bulk goods in and out of different locations. Truck scales have
the ability to weigh and display all axles at one time, or give the gross weight of the entire truck.
Axle scales will measure each set of axles individually. |
